The Bible often compares our lives to vessels at sea. God has given us a unique and powerful ability to weather life’s storms.

Over the past year, we’ve watched our world change. We’ve witnessed a tearing of sorts in our nation, and tragically, I think many people have genuine fears regarding today. The Bible, however, is fairly clear. Whatever outcome proceeds this day, God will work His plan.

I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.

Jeremiah 27:4

In Jeremiah, God uses an evil king from Babylon to teach His people. God can use bad for good. So whether you celebrate this evening, or simply click off your television for reprieve, sleep in peace tonight. God governs the affairs of men.–Benjamin Franklin
