Tuesday's Thought

Restoring our Confidence

The Lord is so faithful to speak to us. Heard a great message tonight on TRUST. Blessed (happy) is the person who's trust is in ... Not in money, or that job, or that person or relationship... But who's trust is in the Lord. May we put our hope and assurance in its rightful place... In HIM. He will not fail us. Thankful for Christ's faithfulness to us and that we can rest well tonight because He's in control!:

People are valuable. They are valuable to God. You are valuable to the Creator of the world. He doesn’t make mistakes, and He created you as you are.

Sometimes we have doubts. Doubts about whether we fit in with those around us. Doubts about our value, because we aren’t dating anyone. Doubts about our life, because it isn’t going as planned. Such things should never shatter our confidence.

As a Christian, you have a Father, who owns everything around you. He loves you. He’s a good Father. He is not shaken by hiccups in our lives. He is not intimidated by others. He knows where our lives are heading, and He has a good plan.

When you doubt your own abilities, turn to Him who created you. He understands the fiber of your being. He governs the world around you, and He knows what’s best.

If you truly know Him, there is no popularity contest, no life detour, no perception of yourself that should shatter you.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
