In Quietness and Trust

“In repentance and rest you will be saved, in  quietness and trust is your strength.”–Isaiah 30:15

I love this part of this verse and have been reflecting on it a lot lately.  If you’re truly a Christian, you’ve have already come to a point of repentance and finding rest in Christ alone  (see Ephesians 2:8 and Romans 10:9–if you’re not sure).  You’ve done Part A, but what about Part B? –a quiet submission to God’s plans for your life.  Not a submission by which we submit out of obligation but out of complete trust, and it’s a daily thing…Realizing that you can entirely trust God, should give you strength in life.  It doesn’t mean life will be easy, but ultimately God’s plans are better than ours.  We can stop struggling and trust Him.
