I’ve been thinking a lot about who God is. It amazes me sometimes. My list doesn’t even begin to describe Him.
God is…
eternal (Psalm 45:6, Ephesians 1:4, Isaiah 57:15), loving (1 John 4:8, Psalm 36:5, Deuteronomy 7:9, Exodus 34:6-7, 1 John 4:16), holy (Isaiah 57:15, 1 Peter 1:16), creative (Genesis 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16), powerful (Psalm 147:5, Psalm 121:1-2), capable (Psalm 25:3), personal (Psalm 145:18), knowable (Jeremiah 9: 23-24), faithful (Psalm 36:5, Deuteronomy 7:9), righteous (Psalm 36:6-7), patient (2 Peter 3:9), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), compassionate (Exodus 34:6-7, Psalm 116:5), unchanging (Numbers 23:19), sovereign (Deuteronomy 3:24), merciful (Deuteronomy 4:31), mighty (Deuteronomy 10:17), Lord (2 Samuel 22:32), help (Psalm 54:4)…
And one of the things God is to us as Christians is our adoptive Father. Below are children waiting to find Him and an earthly father as well. If He is willing to give us a chance as His children, why shouldn’t we do the same and bring glory to Him through the love we might offer them?

Adopting an older child and loving her even before she loved me has taught me a lot about God’s adoption of us and love for us.

I checked out two of your blogs and really enjoyed reading through them. I noticed you went to Liberty. I have several relatives that have attended Liberty at one time or another. It’s a great school! Thanks for visiting my blog and sharing your heart!
