Today is a busy day for me, so this will be short.

There are many children waiting for families, who have come from unsafe living conditions.  They have never known the love of a family as it should be.  While visiting an orphanage several years ago, I met a young girl whose father had repeatedly raped her.  She was pulled from the home by a loving teacher who helped her find safety.  It was a terribly shocking thing.  If you ever consider adoption, please don’t overlook children that have been abused.  They need a loving family and a chance to meet their real Father.  If you don’t think adoption is right for your family, that’s okay too.  You can still do something! Use photolisting to find a waiting child and pray for them.  You never know the difference you could make for that one child!
